Positives of travel!

While some of us are more terrified of travelling than Mr. T for the most part the
human experience loves to travel.
It is said to broaden our horizons and build character.
Opens our minds to new cultures and new experiences and teaches us to be more
tolerant of each other.
Travelling is something that everyone should be doing, especially to new
countries that you have never been to before.
Modern technology has brought so many more options with regards to holidaying
and travelling in general, gone are the days of popping up the High Street to visit
your local travel agent. Thumbing through Holiday brochures to find your ideal
location.
While you can still pick up brochures it is being phased out with more selection of
holidays to be found online and the best deals too.
Money is for the most part the major player in the decision of which holiday, but
destination is always King. The internet has opened the whole world up to the
consumer and any kind of holiday can be planned and organized ranging from the
standard two weeks in the sun to something quirkier and more adventurous like
hiking in the Chinese mountains. Sky is literally the limit.
Why not two weeks in an ice hotel in Greenland or maybe a dome holiday in the
desert under the stars or a tree cabin holiday in a Rainforest somewhere idyllic.
The list of possibilities is literally endless and the benefits of travel are so massive,
you could choose to opt for the quiet holiday that cuts you off from civilization to
help you get back to your roots, or to let your creativity loose.
One of the major ways travel helps your health is it lowers stress down a lot, it has
been scientifically proven that travel will increase your happiness and decrease
your depression.
Travel helps broaden you horizons and improves brain health, meet new people
and placing yourself in new and unfamiliar situations is good for your health and
increases cognitive experience.

I have only touched upon a few points there regarding the health benefits of
travel, there are plenty of information out there on the internet, please don’t take
my word for it but travel is proven to relieve stress and increase happiness. Get
out there, it’s a big wide world!…

Choosing between hotels and resorts

When you are planning your next tour or travel destination, the one thing that you need to do is making your accommodation booking. And, you need to know if you are choosing between a hotel or a resort.

For many this isn’t a problem, because they know what they will prefer. However, there are people that don’t know if they should consider making the booking at a hotel or at a resort. If you know the pros and cons of staying at a hotel and a resort, it will make the decision easier.

Good things about staying in a hotel

There are a couple of great things about staying in a hotel. Normally a hotel is more expensive, but they are offering more luxury, a four or five star. This is great to stay at if you are traveling around, and you aren’t staying for long periods.

This is also a great option if you are looking for privacy and not want to have the screams of children having fun. Hotels are also normally equipped with a hotel and room service. Making it great for eating at the hotel.

Good things about staying in a resort

Resort staying is for those that are looking for a holiday where they are mostly staying in one place. Where there are a lot of amenities where you can have fun. This is also the place where you can prepare your own food if you like.

If you are traveling with children, this is the place that you should consider choosing. The lodges are further apart and the children’s noise will not bother other people. Resorts tend to be more affordable, but there is less luxury, except if there is a hotel at the resort as well.

Conclusion. Which one is best?

The question is which one is best. It depends on you. Are you looking for a luxurious holiday, or are you looking for a family holiday? Indoor activities, or outdoor amenities for the whole family. At the end of the day, you need to decide which one suits your needs best.

It can be hard to choose which accommodation you should consider when you are traveling. Should you book at a hotel or resort? Before you decide, make sure that you know the benefits of staying at each one. Then, it will be a lot easier to decide which one you want to make your booking. Which one you will find the most fun for you and your family.
